Puerto Rican singer Kedward Avilés, born in Manatí, discovered his passion for music at a young age, learning boleros and trio music from his grandparents. His artistic journey began in 5th grade when he participated in a musical theater production in Germany. Back in Puerto Rico, he honed his skills in choirs and musicals during high school and later at the University of Puerto Rico, where he studied music and psychology. Kedward Avilés performed in operas like Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera and musicals such as Evita and Into the Woods. A member of the Caribbean Tenors since 2015, he has graced prestigious stages, including the 500th anniversary of San Juan and the 2020 Inauguration. Kedward Avilés, who blends pop, R&B, soul, classical, and Latin music, has collaborated with artists like Carlos Vives and Pedro Capó, even appearing in campaigns for major brands like Sprite and Honda. As an independent artist, he has released singles such as "I'm Sorry" and "Échate Pa' acá," and in 2024, he debuted his track "Tú Eliges," featuring Samuel Mancini and Eric West.
