Jazz singer Kellylee Evans, born in Canada in 1975, is considered one of the finest soul and jazz voices of her generation. After two critically acclaimed albums on the other side of the Atlantic, Fight Or Flight (2006) and The Good Girl (2010), her third opus, Nina, dedicated to the repertoire of Nina Simone, released the same year, was a French revelation. In 2013, I Remember When is the fruit of a collaboration with pianist and composer Eric Legnini, including his English-language version of Stromae's "Alors on danse". Two years after a lightning accident forced her frail figure into a wheelchair on tour, Kellylee Evans returned to the studio for a fifth jazz and soul concentrate, Come on, released in 2015.
