Kewan Pádre, aka Kewan Ligger Beatet Normal, or simply Kewan, is a Danish producer of Kurdish descent. A classically-trained musician, he played cello from the age of 6 and attended the Danish Royal Music Conservatory. In 2013, he founded the record label Grounded with Ali Sufi and went on to produce several hits for other artists, namely Gilli’s “C’Est la Vie,” Sleiman’s “Bomaye,” and Hasah Shah’s “Tyveri.” Kewan has also worked with rap group MellemFingaMuzik, producing several tracks from their 2015 album Militant Mentalitet. In 2021, Kewan made his official debut as a solo artist with the single “No Fugazi,” an infectious melange of hip hop and EDM that featured rapper Carmon. That year, he teamed up with singers Tessa and Clara for “Nasty Sommer,” a sleek summer anthem that entered the Danish charts at Number 26.
