Kim Ji-hyun, born on August 16, 1972, is a South Korean singer and actress who first entered the spotlight in 1994 as a member of the best-selling pop group Roo'ra. She left the group in 1997 to embark on a solo career, releasing her debut solo album, Cat's Eye, that same year. Kim rejoined Roo'ra in 1999, staying with the group until its disbandment in 2001. She continued her solo career, releasing her second album, Second Time in 2003. In 2009, Kim participated in a reunion with Roo'ra, highlighting her ongoing connection to her musical roots.
