American bluegrass band from Montana, Kitchen Dwellers formed in Bozeman in 2010, around Shawn Swain (mandolin), Torrin Daniels (banjo), Joe Funk (double bass) and Max Davies (acoustic guitar). The band has built its reputation on the live scene, performing at major festivals such as Red Rocks and international bluegrass gatherings. Their progressive, folk-tinged music gave rise to the albums Ghost in the Bottle (2017), Muir Maid (2019) and Wise River (2022), which at each stage attracted ever-growing audiences. In 2024, the band drew inspiration from the work of Italian writer Dante Aligheri to compose the concept album Seven Devils, which reached #9 in the bluegrass charts.
