Born in 1997, Kodes, also known by his stage name Desko, hails from Evry in the Essone region of France. He got his start in rap alongside 2zé, with whom he formed the duo Mafia Spartiate, before going solo. The rapper, who is close to Seven Binks and Koba LaD, made a name for himself in 2020 with the track "Méchant ", which he included on his first EP, La B, released on the Wati B label. The following year, he released Avoir et Être, featuring Minus, Zola and Cheu-B, before unveiling No Cap Vol.1 in 2023 , an 18-track mixtape featuring collaborations with Bolémvn, Kerchak and Leto.
