Kulwinder Billa

Punjabi acting and singing sensation Kulwinder Billa (born in Mansa, Punjab, India on February 2, 1984) made his foray into music-making in 2012 with debut album Koi Khaas, presenting a mixture of slower-paced Punjabi pop gems and energy-fueled bhangra bangers. A follow-up album, Punjab, arrived that same year and in 2014, two more LPs: Fer Toh Punjab and Tayari Haan Di. Achieving his hat-trick of posting two albums each consecutive year, in 2015 he released Time Table and Sucha Soorma. As an actor, Kulwinder Billa kickstarted his career on the silver screen in 2018, taking up the role of a protagonist in the 2018 Indian Punjabi-language biographical war film, Subedar Joginder, directed by Simerjit Singh. That same year, he starred in Amrit Raj Chadha and Mohit Banwait's Indian Punjabi comedy film Parahuna and in 2019, appeared in Television with Mandy Takhar and Chhalle Mundiyaan with Mandy Takhar and Ammy Virk. In 2021, following the success of Palazzo in 2017, Kulwinder Billa put his voice and lyrics to "Shivjot" from Palazzo 2, which features Aman Hayer and Himanshi Khurana.
