Spearheaded by anonymous, no-holds-barred punk provocateur Kunt and the Gang (born in 1973 in Basildon, UK) – whose true identity has remained under lock and key since 2003 when he launched his initial musical assault – UK punks The Kunts stormed the charts in December 2020 with their satirical single, "Boris Johnson Is a Fucking Cunt." The UK Prime Minister-lambasting track entered the UK Christmas Number one race that year and was beaten to the top spot by LadBaby's "Don't Stop Me Eatin'," although it did miraculously achieve a Number 5 position in spite of its expletive-filled lyrics. The following year, the band returned to have another stab at the Number one prize with the single "Boris Johnson Is STILL a Fucking Cunt," launching their campaign in November 2021 but once again only getting to Number 5.
