Kyo Itachi

Real name Kabile Fabrice, French alternative rap producer Kyo Itachi was born in Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis) on July 15, 1980, to parents originally from Martinique. Although he began working on his first tracks in 2000, signing several under the pseudonym Kostaire, this beatmaker with a passion for Asian culture, who takes his stage name from two characters, one from a video game and the other from a manga, has been producing albums and mixtapes at a fast pace since Musikyo (2010). His collaborations include Alpha Wann, Ruste Juxx, Lucio Bukowski, Sean Price, Roc Marciano, Nekfeu, Maj Trafyk, Rocca and Rocé. The Love Mugen series, launched in 2010, includes two new episodes: Love Mugen 2: Dream & Existence (2013) and Love Mugen 3 (2020), among other releases such as Born Again (with LMNO, 2011), the Mon Job EP with Alpha Wann (2012), Kiai Sous la Pluie Noire (with Lucio Bukowski, 2015), Genkidama (2018), Ajin (2018), Rest in Power (2018), Night Life (2018), Carnage (2019), Unapologetic (2019) or Akira (2019). His eclectic output of soul, jazz and rock is characterized by instrumental pieces. Kyo Itachi's subsequent albums include Wasabi (2021), Art of Monk (2022) and Solide (2022), which earned him 128th place in the SNEP album sales and listening charts in France.
