La Energía Norteña is a Regional Mexican music band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 2010. With a repertoire consisting of mostly romantic Norteño songs, the group began playing at local events like weddings and talent shows, eventually landing the possibility to record their first single "Te Recordaré" via Azteca Records in 2011. Sin Restricciones, their studio debut, was released in 2013 and was followed by Cruzando Territorio (2014), which cracked the Top 5 of Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. Preceded by the Top 30 single "Me Dejaste Solo," their third outing El Rompecabezas made waves in the scene, peaking at number 2 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart and earning a Latin Grammy nomination. Over the following years, La Energía Norteña continued touring and releasing music at a prolific pace, delivering the LPs No Hay Quinto Malo (2016), El Sueño Americano (2018), El Crossover (2018), and the Latin Grammy-nominated Poco a Poco (2019). In 2020, the band celebrated its tenth anniversary in the music industry with the release of Diez. Three years later, they received another Latin Grammy nomination, this time for their album Fuera de Serie in the category Best Norteño Album. "Contéstale," one of the singles from the album, peaked at number 37 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart in the US.
