La Poem

La Poem is a South Korean male crossover vocal group. They formed in July 2020 through the reality TV show Phantom Singer Season 3, which aired on JTBC. The group consists of four classically trained singers: Chaehoon You and Kihun Park (tenors), Minseong Jeong (baritone), and Sunghoon Choi (countertenor). Their formation was marked by their victory on the show, where they were favored by viewer votes. After forming, the group quickly began performing at various prestigious events, including concerts, TV shows, and music festivals. Their debut EP, Scene#1, was released on December 2, 2020, followed by Eclipse (Trilogy III. Vincere) in December 2021, and The Alchemist in March 2023. Each release has been successful critically and commercially, with all of them landing in the Top 10 of South Korea's Circle Albums Chart. The group has performed at the opening of the Korean Series in the KBO league and various award ceremonies. Singles such as "Waltz in Storm" and soundtrack contributions like "Lacrimosa" for the Vincenzo OST quickly established the group as one of the fastest-rising stars in the K-pop and classical crossover pop genres. In 2023, they released their fourth EP, titled Poem (시·詩·Poem). This release peaked at number 15 on the South Korean charts while simultaneously reaching number 28 on the Worldwide K-pop Albums Top 100, continuing their streak of successful releases.
