Crezl

Crezl is a South Korean crossover male vocal quartet that originated from the JTBC singing competition Phantom Singer 4. The group's name, a blend of "creative" and the Korean "즐겁다" (meaning joyful), seeks to display the group's ethos of creating diverse and enjoyable music. The quartet consists of members from varied musical backgrounds: K-pop idol Jo Jin-ho, traditional Korean music artist Kim Su-in, classical vocalist Lee Seung-min, and musical actor Lim Kyu-hyung. During Phantom Singer 4, the group stood out for their eclectic mix of musical styles and exciting performances. They reached the finals with performances that combined different genres like pop, classical, and Korean traditional music, quickly proving their versatility as performers. Their final round included renditions of songs such as Stevie Wonder's "Faith" and Blackpink's "Kill This Love," the latter making waves for integrating K-pop with traditional Korean elements. Although they finished third, their performances were highly acclaimed. After the competition, Crezl joined Cheetah Company and embarked on a national tour as part of the Phantom Singer 4 Gala Concert series. They continued to make appearances at events such as the Blue House Outdoor Concert, and in 2024 the group performed a joint concert with Forténa, another Phantom Singer finalist. They released their debut EP Cre: 㘉 (2024), which peaked at number 15 on the Korean chart.
