La Pompe Moderne performs cult songs in the style of Georges Brassens. Was this a genuine homage to the moustachioed Sétois, or just a big joke? Whatever the case, their 2007 EP Plus Dur, Meilleur, Plus Rapide, Plus Fort (Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger ) went viral, followed by a Greatest Hits album in late 2009.
