Ladilla Rusa is a Spanish music group from Montcada i Reixac in the province of Barcelona, formed in 2017 by Tania Lozano and Víctor F. Clares. Both hailing from the same town and sharing a journalism background, they initially started the musical duo just for fun but began taking it more seriously as the project developed. Their music, characterized by a blend of electropop and Catalan rumba, is infused with influences from the outskirts of Barcelona. They released their first album Estado del Malestar in 2018 through the label La Mundial Records. This earned them popularity due to their humor and party spirit. They are also among the bands that have been able to leverage social media and the Internet to bolster their careers. They have also produced a number of singles, starting with "BEBO (De Bar En Peor)" and "Macaulay Culkin" in 2017, followed by "Princesas" in 2018, "KITT y Los Coches del Pasado" in 2019, "A un Metro y Medio de Ti" in 2020, and "After Party" in 2022. To fund their second album, which they aimed to make even more ambitious, crazy, and fun than the first, Ladilla Rusa launched a crowdfunding campaign, especially due to financial strains caused by the pandemic. Their second album, Costumbrismo Mágico, was released in 2022 by El Genio Equivocado Records.
