Las Hermanas Caronni are two Argentine sisters of Italian descent. Laura Caronni (cello) and Gianna Caronni (clarinet) are twins from Rosario (Santa Fé). After arriving in France in 1998, they joined various tango groups, before joining forces musically in 2004. Las Hermanas Caronni then created an original recipe combining tango, classical music, folklore from northern Argentina and songs of transalpine origin. In January 2012, Las Hermanas Caronni released the very sober Baguala de la Siesta.
