Born in Milan on August 22, 1994, Jacopo Lazzarini has been passionate about the piano since childhood, and attended Milan's Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory. However, he moved away from classical music and got involved in rap. He took the stage name Lazza and began promoting his music on social networks. At the same time, he joined bands such as Zero2 and Block Recordz, then the Machete Crew collective. At the end of December 2014, he released K1 Mixtape, featuring rapper Emis Killa. This was followed in 2017 by his first proper album, Zzala, featuring the track "MOB", on which he invited Nitro and Salmo. Much in demand as a producer (Ernia, Salmo, Nitro), the rapper extended his own discography by releasing the new single "Porto Cervo", certified gold. This was followed by a second album, Re Mida (2019), which marked a shift towards trap and topped the Italian charts on its release. Two further editions of the album follow at the end of the year, Re Mida (Aurum), consisting of previously unreleased versions, and Re Mida (Piano Solo), an acoustic re-interpretation. Lazza follows this up with the number-one mixtape J (July 2020). It features collaborations with Gué Pequeno, Capo Plaza, Tha Supreme, Emis Killa, Geolier, Shiva and Gemitaiz. Its ten or so extracts in turn invaded the sales charts. In 2022, Lazza announces the release of the album Sirio, produced largely by Low Kidd, Drillionaire and Young Miles. It features collaborations with Tory Lanez, French Montana, Geolier, Noyz Narcos and Sfera Ebbasta. The latter is featured on the duet "Piove ", which reached number one in the Italian charts.
