Born Léandre Éthier, he is a Quebec pop singer. He started out as a backing vocalist for singer Sass Jordan in the late 1980s. Léandre won a contest with Montreal radio station CHOM-FM and released his first album, Prendre le Temps, in 1990. Several of the songs on this album became hits in Quebec, including " Goodbye My Love " and " On court toujours ". In 1995, he released his second album, Libre, with the hit " J't'attendrai ", which reached the top 10 of the Quebec radio charts. In the early 2000s, he presents his third opus, Strange Eyes Java Jive, in which he sings the original English songs he wrote before singing in French. He later left the music business to become a massage therapist.
