Les Denis Drolet

Les Denis Drolet are an absurdist comedy duo from Quebec, formed in 1999 in St-Jérôme (Canada), consisting of Sébastien Dubé and Vincent Léonard. They performed their first show in February 1999 at Cégeps en spectacle, Quebec's biggest francophone performing arts competition. In the summer of 2000, they were awarded the Prix de la relève by the Just for Laughs festival. Their self-titled debut album is released on September 30, 2002, and includes the hits " Fantastique " and " Oh yeah! Between 2004 and 2005, they had a TV show called Les Pourris de Talent on Musique Plus in Quebec. On October 25, 2005, they released their first DVD of their best live sketches and songs, Au Pays des Denis . That same year, they won the Félix award for best show at the ADISQ gala. In 2006, they release their second album, 2D, with two songs that are making a name for themselves on the Quebec radio charts: " Hip-di-hip " and " Yves Corbeil ". In 2009, Les Denis Drolet pay tribute to Plume Latraverse, an influential figure in their lives, with the album Chants de Plume . In 2012, they are the Quebec spokespeople for the Pepsi advertising campaign. In 2019, state-owned Loto-Québec, which oversees gambling activities in Quebec, launches a five-dollar scratch card in the duo's honor, called Les Denis Drolet À la Fête Forain. On December 11, 2020, they launch their podcast Rince-Crème. In December 2021, they release two albums of humorous songs related to their podcast, Les Sessions Rince-Crème Volume 1 and 2.
