Les Inconnus

Formed in 1984 by five defectors from Bouvard's Petit Théâtre, Les Inconnus took its definitive name and trio form in 1986. In 1990, the TV show La Télé des Inconnus made them stars. Several of Les Inconnus' sketches gave rise to songs that became extremely popular.Auteuil Neuilly Passy", a parody of French rap and its anagrams (NTM, IAM), topped the singles charts in June 1991. " Rap tout vampire " reached number two on the same chart in October. Both hits were later included on the album Bouleversifiant! In 1992, Les Etonnifiants also gained public support for the trio's sense of humor. After splitting up in 1995, the group reunited on several occasions, but did not return to song.
