Who said French rock was on the wane? Following in the footsteps of BB Brunes, Plastiscines and Naast, Les Shades are part of this bubbling young Parisian rock scene with a flamboyant energy. Discovered during Rock'n'Roll Friday at Paris venue Le Gibus and introduced by Philippe Manoeuvre(Rock&Folk), the "baby rockers" (born around 1990) went on to break through with their debut album, Le Meurtre de Vénus, released in 2008. This was followed in 2010 by 5/5, putting Les Shades on the road to maturity.
