Born on November 3, 1983 in Nottingham, England, Liam Bailey launched his career as a soulful singer-songwriter in London, where he was discovered by Amy Winehouse in 2010. After releasing the EPs 2AM Rough Tracks and So Down, Cold through Winehouse's label, Bailey began collaborating with the British electronic duo Chase & Status, serving as the co-writer and lead singer of the group's 2011 hit "Blind Faith." The song topped the UK Dance chart, followed by another collaboratively-written dance smash, "Big Man," in 2012. Bailey's long-awaited solo debut, Definitely Now, was released in 2014, followed in 2020 by the stylistically diverse Ekundayo.
