Lord of the Lost is a dark rock band from Germany that was founded in 2007. Initially, it was purely a solo project by musician and singer Chris Harms. From 2009, Lord of the Lost appeared as a band. The band's debut album Fears was released in 2010. The second studio album Antagony followed in 2011, and Lord of the Lost's third studio album Die Tomorrow made it into the German album charts for the first time at number 33. The follow-up album From the Flame Into the Fire even climbed to number 18 in 2014. After the next longplayer Swan Songs (2015), the band made it into the top 10 of the German charts with the album Empyrean in 2016 at number 9. This was followed in 2017 by the album Swan Songs II, which reached number 35 in the German charts. Lord of the Lost returned to the top 10 of the charts in 2018 with its successor Thornstar at number 6. After Swan Songs III (2020), Lord of the Lost achieved their biggest chart success to date with the longplayer Judas at number 2 in 2021. In the meantime, the band is also regularly placed in the charts in Austria and Switzerland. In 2022, the band achieved their first number 1 album in Germany with Blood & Glitter. At the end of 2023, Lord of the Lost released Weapons of Mass Seduction, a double album with cover songs by artists as diverse as Billy Idol, Bronski Beat, Roxette, Lady Gaga and Iron Maiden.
