Lotfi Double Kanon

Real name Lotfi Belamri, rapper Lotfi Double Kanon, also known as Lotfi DK, was born on July 6, 1974 in Annaba, Algeria, into a family of four children, whose father was a factory worker and whose mother was a housewife. After graduating from high school, he began singing at the age of 18 with his friend Waheb Sassen, in the group Double Kanon. He released his first album Kamikaz in 1996, followed by Kanibal in 1997 and Kondamné in 1998, both of which raised his profile. He then went solo, releasing a number of albums, including the diptych Lakamora in 1999-2000, Bad Boy in 2002, Dangereux and Virus in 2003, as well as three landmark albums in three years: Koupable in 2006, Kamizole in 2007 and Kauchemar in 2008. His best-known tracks include "Koulech mechi", "Ya lebhar" and "Tofla boumba".
