Lucio Corsi

Italian songwriter Lucio Corsi embraces many styles, from chanson to pop and rock. Born in Grosseto, Tuscany, on October 15, 1993, he grew up in Vetulonia and moved to Milan, when he released his debut EP Vetulonia Dakar in 2014, followed in 2015 by Altalena Boy, which would be compiled into an album five years later. In the meantime, the artist signed by Picicca Dischi, distributed by Sony Music, elaborates his first album, the conceptual Bestiario musicale (2017), demonstrating his eclectic palette through portraits of animals. After a series of successful concerts, his single "Cosa faremo da grandi?" reached #60 in the Italian charts, and gave its title to a richly arranged second album, released in 2020 and ranked #23. Three years later, Lucio Corsi returns after the Covid-19 pandemic with the album La gente che sogna, which reaches no. 37 before a summer tour that includes a concert supporting The Who. In 2024, the singer wins a second MEI award for independent artists with "Tu sei il mattino" (no. 42), featured on the soundtrack of the TV series Vita da Carlo, while the hit "Volevo essere un duro" (no. 4) is the subject of his performance at the Sanremo Festival in February 2025, where he wins second place and the critics' prize. The song, which gave rise to a homonymous album, preceded his selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, the final of which took place in Basel, Switzerland, on May 17, 2025.
