Ludovic Bource

Ludovic Bource aka Dr. Crunkenstein is a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. He made his debut as composer for Michel Hazanavicius' film Mes Amis in 1999. Prior to this, Ludovic Bource had already worked with the director on a number of commercials. Ludovic Bource contributed to three albums by the Svinkels group, and to Alain Bashung's L'Imprudence in 2002. His longstanding complicity with Michel Hazanavicius led him to work with him again on OSS 117: Le Caire, Nid d'Espions in 2006and OSS 117: Rio Ne Répond Plus in 2009. In 2011, his music played a key role in the silent film The Artist, in which Michel Hazanavicius and Jean Dujardin - who won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role - recreated the world of early cinema. In 2012, Ludovic Bource won a Golden Globe, a César and an Oscar for Best Original Score for The Artist.
