Luis Alfonso

Luis Alfonso, born on November 8, 1993, in Popayán, Cauca, is a Colombian Regional music singer-songwriter, known affectionately as "El Señorazo." His journey began with a deep love for music inspired by his grandfather, with whom he shared a passion for classic Mexican film and music legends like Pedro Infante. Growing up, Luis Alfonso immersed himself in music, participating in church choirs and neighborhood youth orchestras, where his dedication blossomed into a calling. His career took a major step forward in Antioquia, where he professionally recorded his first songs in the late 2010s. He briefly gained national attention as a contestant on the Colombian reality show A Otro Nivel, but withdrew despite his popularity to honor pre-existing commitments. Soon after, he signed with La Industria INC, propelling his career with tracks like "No me haces falta" and a viral cover of "El precio de tu error," which hit number 1 on Colombia’s streaming charts and expanded his fanbase internationally, including performances in Dubai. In 2023, he won Best New Artist at the Premios Nuestra Tierra, where he debuted his latest single, "La ex," thanking his supporters and wife for their unwavering support. After releasing the live albums Ayer, Hoy y Siempre (2021), La Terraza (2022), and El Señorazo (2023), Luis Alfonso dropped his first studio album Contentoso in 2024, featuring contributions from Jessi Uribe, Tony Aguirre, Blessd, Jhonny Rivera, Paola Jara, Francy, and Manchego. This was followed by the parrandera music EP Parrandero y Contentoso later that year.
