Luna Yin is a Chinese Mandopop singer-songwriter. Born in Taixing, Jiangsu Province on July 30, 1993, she began her music journey as an independent singer under the name Robot 5, signing with GOGOMUSIC many years later in 2012, where she began releasing her own music and composing songs for other artists. In 2013, Yin released her first EP, If You Love Me, which showcased her unique style and musical talent, composing the song "About That" for Ada Zhuang in the same year, gaining attention for her exceptional songwriting skills. Her breakthrough moment came in 2015 with the release of her album Don’t Say That You Miss Me and the accompanying music video for the title track of her EP Simply You Don't Love Me Enough proving a commercial success, bringing her widespread recognition and critical acclaim. Since then, Lin has continued to release a plethora of non-album singles including “Well worth it” (2018), “Please Please” (2019) “Melody” (2020), “Summer Rain” (2021) and “Loving Bond” (2022) and has collaborated with well-known Mandopop artists including Tong Keke, Ada Zhuang and Xu Hao. On April 19 2023, she released “Instant Sea of People”, which peaked at number 10 on the Top 100 Music Charts in China.
