Machico

Best known for her work on numerous video games and anime series, Japanese singer and voice actress Machiko Saitō was born in Kure, Hiroshima, on March 25, 1992. After reaching the finals of the 36th Horipro Talent Scout Campaign in 2011, she kicked off her singing career with "Magical Happy Show!" (2012), the theme song to the visual novel Supipara: Alice the Magic Conductor. The following year, Machico landed her first voice-acting role as Tsubasa Ibuki on the mobile game The Idolmaster Million Live! Colors, her studio debut, appeared in 2014 and peaked at Number 64 on the Oricon weekly charts, followed by a second LP titled Colors II -RML- that reached Number 86 in 2015. Over the next few years, Machico lent her voice to several anime series such as World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman (2015), Three Leaves, Three Colors (2016), and Kirakira PreCure a la Mode (2017) while continuing her musical journey on the albums Ambitious* (2016) and SOL (2017). Issued in 2022, the compilation 10th Anniversary Album -Trajectory- peaked at Number 78 on the Billboard Japan Albums chart.
