American R&B and pop singer-songwriter Madison Beer was born March 5, 1999 in Jericho, New York. She first garnered attention when she put her own cover versions online in 2012. After she caught the eye of Justin Bieber, the Canadian pop singer landed her a recording contract. She appeared in a promotion for Mattel's Monster High doll franchise and released her first single and music video “Melodies” with Bieber in 2013. She featured on Mako's 2015 single “I Won't Let You Walk Away”, which peaked at number 19 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. Other singles include “All for Love” (2015), “Say It to My Face” (2017) and “Home With You” (2018). The latter two appeared on her debut EP As She Pleases, which went to number 8 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart, number 17 on the Digital Albums chart and number 49 on the Top Album Sales chart. Her 2019 releases include “All Day and Night” with Jax Jones and Martin Solveig, which reached number 9 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, number 10 on the Official UK Singles Chart, and number 14 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Her single “Dear Society” came out in May 2019, and two years later, Beer released her debut album, Life Support, which charted in over 10 countries, seeing the singer return a few short months later with the lead single from her second album, titled “Reckless” which quickly became her biggest success to date on the American pop charts. In 2023, she released Silence Between Songs, which spawned several new singles such as: "Spinnin," "Showed Me (How I Fell In Love With You)," and "Home to Another One."
