Born on January 31, 1992, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, she began her career as a member of Harajuku BJ Girls, a girl group whose name was later changed to the Chix Chicks. Shortly after the Chix Chicks' breakup in 2010, Mizuhashi launched a solo career with "Color," which was used as the opening theme of the TV series Freezing later that year. The song was released as an official single in 2011 and became a Top 40 hit, peaking at Number 35 on the Oricon charts. Mizuhashi then joined Garnidelia, a duo featuring her producer, Yoshinori Abe. Their debut album, Linkage Ring, was released in 2015 and reached Number 11 in Japan, with the singles "Ambiguous," "Grilletto," and "Blazing" all becoming Top 20 hits. Garnidelia charted seven additional Top 40 hits during the decade's second half, then kicked off a new decade with 2020's Kishikaisei. While continuing to perform with Garnidelia, Mizuhashi also returned to her solo project, MARiA. Utamonogatari, her solo debut album, was released in 2021 and peaked at Number 23, followed by the sophomore effort Moments in June 2022.
