Marc Dupré is a Félix Award-winning pop singer, guitarist, and television host from Terrebonne, Quebec, where he was born on July 28, 1973. He opened several shows for Céline Dion during the mid-1990s and married Dion's stepdaughter, Anne-Marie Angélil, in 2000. Dion composed an original song, "Tout près du bonheur," for the couple's wedding, Years later, Dupré recorded his own version of the track — with Dion on backing vocals — for his 2005 debut album, Refaire le monde. "Tout près du bonheur" subsequently became a Number 1 hit in Quebec, and Dupré continued releasing solo records like 2007's Revenir à toi, 2010's Entre deux mondes, and 2013's Nous sommes les mêmes. Entre deux mondes was named "Pop-Rock Album of the Year" at the Félix Awards in 2011, with Dupré winning additional awards for "Song of the Year" and "Male Singer of the Year" with his 2013 single "Nous sommes les mêmes." Meanwhile, he also began making regular TV appearances, serving as a vocal coach on the popular show Star Académie before joining the judging panel of La Voix in 2013. He remained with La Voix for five seasons, skipped the sixth, then rejoined the show during its seventh season. Meanwhile, he continued releasing new records, too, including 2017's La vie qu’il nous reste, 2019's Rien ne se perd (which won a Félix Award for "Pop Album of the Year"), and 2021's Où sera le monde.
