Marca MP

US-based Regional Mexican music group Marca MP formed in Modesto, California, in January 2018. Originally made up of Pedro “El Chato” Vargas, Esteban Salcedo, Cristian Daniel, and Jesús Tizoc, the band underwent various lineup changes over the years. They first gained prominence in 2019 with their single "El Güero," a collaboration with Grupo Firme. This debut single was a significant success, accumulating over 123 million views on video-streaming websites and surpassing 200 million streams on streaming platforms by the year 2022. In March 2019, Marca MP released their first live album Despegando el Vuelo. Later that year, they released their first EP En Vivo, Vol. 1, followed by En Vivo Desde el Malecón: Sold Out. In 2020, Marca MP released their first studio album No Me Quejo. They also released the EP Flores (2020), which featured the popular track "Recuerda." Their single "De Morro" from this period also gained considerable traction online. In 2021, Marca MP released their third EP DEV, Vol.2 which included the hit "Ya Acabo," as well as their second studio album Seguimos Avanzando. They were recognized with their first Premio Lo Nuestro and received two Premios Juventud. Their third studio album, Brindo, was released in 2022. The album Lealtad came out in 2024, featuring the popular title track which quickly became one of the group's most streamed songs.
