Marcos Witt

Texas-born Marcos Witt is one of the most popular and prolific singers of Christian music in the Spanish language combining a Grammy Award-winning performing career with work as a pastor and teacher. He created the CanZion Producciones label, which has released many of his recordings, and the CanZion Institute, with schools teaching worship and music in several countries. A son of missionaries, he has been a busy writer and evangelical activist. He tours internationally, especially across Latin America, and he has been a frequent visitor to the White House. His 2004 release 'Recordando Otra Vez' went to number 50 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums Chart, 'Tiempo De Navidad' (2004) reached number 19, 'Dios es Bueno' (2005) peaked at number 38 and number 46 on the Top Christian Albums Chart, 'Sobrenatural' (2008) number 51 and 'Sigues Siendo Dios' (2014) number ten and number 29 on the Christian Chart. His 2018 schedule included appearances at venues in Colombia, America, Argentina, Mexico and Chile.
