Marcynho Sensação

Marcynho Sensação, born Márcio Minervino da Silva in Pilões, Paraíba, Brazil, rose from humble beginnings to national fame as one of the most exciting voices in piseiro music. Inspired by his father, Zézinho Show, Marcynho Sensação's musical journey began with borrowed keyboards and small performances in local bars. Despite financial hardships, including selling his equipment during the pandemic, his determination never wavered. In 2020, he recorded a pivotal CD that included "Rolê," a track that unexpectedly went viral after he uploaded it to digital platforms. This success led to a collaboration with Tarcísio do Acordeon, further elevating the song and securing spots on the viral streaming charts. Hits like “Liga o Som do Paredão,” “Baby Me Atende,” and “Meu Pedaço de Pecado” solidified his presence in Brazilian music. Marcynho Sensação's performances, marked by his all-encompassing showmanship—singing, playing, and even managing lighting and effects—have captivated audiences and transformed him into a regional icon turned national sensation. Seizing the momentum, he released two albums in 2024: Na Pegada do Marcynho and #TBT da Sensação.
