In the late 1980s, Australian Mark Boyce put aside his successful modeling career to try his hand at singing. His fame spread beyond the Australian continent with his romantic pop single "Hey Little Girl", which made a notable breakthrough in the French Top 50. It reached number six and stayed there for twenty weeks. The next two attempts, "Questa Sera" and "Classic Story of Love", taken from the album All Over the World, failed to prolong the hopes born of this success, which nevertheless offered a silver certification. Two years later, Mark Boyce put an end to his career, but remained active in the musical field, providing keyboards for Boss Hog on the 2001 album Whiteout, and continuing to compose and produce bands such as G. Love & Special Sauce.
