Mark Snow

Mark Snow is mainly associated with The X-Files phenomenon, for which he composed the various soundtracks and, above all, the theme. A rare phenomenon, "The X-Files" was released as a single in 1996, reaching number one in France and number two in the UK. There have been countless remixes and samples of this song since its release, proof that it has left a strong impression on the collective unconscious, so attached is it to the famous agents Mulder and Scully and their bizarre universe. Mark Snow produced the soundtracks for the two films based on the series in 1998 and 2008. Mark Snow also worked on the series Millenium (1996-1999), Smallville (2001 - 2011), and The Scott Brothers (2003 - 2012). Less present on the silver screen, Mark Snow nevertheless features in the credits of Alain Resnais' films Coeurs in 2006 and Les Herbes Folles in 2009.
