Born Bastien Vincent on May 21, 1985 in Paris, Maska developed a passion for music at an early age. After discovering the world of rock through his parents, he became interested in French rap. A close friend of Black M and Barack Adama, he spent a lot of time writing with them. Together, they formed the group Sexion d'Assaut, with whom Maska released two studio albums: L'École des Points Vitaux (2010) and L'Apogée (2012). He went solo in 2014 with the album Espace-Temps. It wasn't until 2017 that Maska returned to the spotlight with the mixtape Achal-Teke, which he followed up the following year with Préliminaires, then the second installment Préliminaires 2, released in 2019. In 2021, when Sexion d'Assaut announced its reformation with the album Le Retour des Rois, Maska joined forces with Lefa and Lord Esperanza on the single "Voie lactée".
