Massendefekt

Massendefekt is a rock band from Germany founded in 2001. The band itself describes its style as punk & roll. The band maintains a special tradition to this day: with every album release, the band gives special concerts. Fans can only win tickets for these. Massendefekt has already given concerts in a streetcar and on a Rhine steamer. The band's history began in 2002 with the debut album Nur für Euch. It was not until the 2010s that the first successes began to emerge. The album Zwischen gleich und anders made its first chart entry at number 33 in 2014. Massendefekt achieved their breakthrough with Echos in 2016 and number 23 in the German charts. This was followed by an acclaimed tour and numerous festival appearances. Massendefekt also played the support act at the AC/DC concert in Düsseldorf in 2016. Two years later, they made it into the German top 10 for the first time with Pazifik at number 8. In the same year, the rockers opened for the Toten Hosen concert in Düsseldorf. After the less successful Zurück ins Licht (2020), Massendefekt return to the German top 10 with the album Lass die Hunde warten (Let the Dogs Wait ) at number 8 in early 2024.
