Matt Lang, real name Matthieu Langevin, is a Canadian country singer and songwriter born in Maniwaki, Quebec. After becoming interested in ice hockey, he turned to music and drew on American and Canadian country influences. He got noticed on the French-language show La Voix and recorded a first eponymous EP produced by Danick Dupelle, which was released in 2019. Matt Lang quickly reached number 1 on listening platforms in the country genre and established his performer in the professional ranks. In 2020, the English album More ranked No. 94 in Canada and delivered recognized titles such as "Water Down the Whiskey", "Getcha" (No. 98) and "Only a Woman" (No. 99). After a collaboration with Tyler Joe Miller on the title "Never Meet a Beer" in 2022, Matt Lang returned to the studio on his own to produce the album Moonlight Sessions (2023), still self-produced. Nominated twice for the Canadian Country Music Association Awards, he followed up with the album All Night Longer (2024), from which were taken the hits "All Night Longer" and "A Hundred Beers", present in the country specialty charts in Canada.
