Maxime Landry

Quebec singer, songwriter, radio host and author Maxime Landry was born in Saint-Georges, Quebec, on June 16, 1987. Passionate about music, he began by practicing the guitar and took part in a number of competitions, including Star Académie, an adaptation of the French TV talent show, which he won in 2009. His debut album, Vox Pop, won him no fewer than four Félix awards at the 32nd ADISQ Gala. Radio host and author of several books, Maxime Landry has not abandoned his musical career, and has released several albums over the years: L'Avenir Entre Nous in 2011, featuring "Des Soleils par Millions", a duet with Ginette Reno, Noël Blanc in 2013, 3e Rue Sud in 2014 and Nos Histoires in 2017. At the end of 2020, after releasing 10 Ans Déjà the previous year, he releases a new album, entitled Le Party Beauceron, with a country flavor. In 2021, he is cast in the first season of Big Brother Célébrités, the Quebec version of Celebrity Big Brother. He returned to the studio to record the song "J'oubliais", which he performed with Claude Bégin and all program participants, including Emmanuel Auger, Kim Clavel, Étienne Varda, Camille Felton and Jean-François Guevremont.
