Since its formation in 1996, Merzhin has brought Celtic colors to French rock, combining guitar riffs with bombard solos. The Landerneau-based band's albums include Pleine Lune (2000), Adrénaline et Pieds Nus Sur La Braise (2006) and Merzhin Live (2008). In 2009, the Bretons experimented with rock/jazz/Celtic fusion with the Merzhin Moon Orchestra, then returned to their fundamentals on Plus Loin Vers l'Ouest in 2010, and confirmed their turn towards visceral rock increasingly distanced from their Celtic influences on the album Des Heures à la Seconde . In 2016, the band takes on yet another new dimension with Babel.
