Born on November 26, 1990 in Jaslo, Poland, Michal Szpak embodies the generation of reality TV singers in his homeland who don't care about borders. In 2011, he was a finalist on the first Polish edition of The X Factor. His pop rock style, slightly influenced by the hard rock he loved in his younger days, was a great local success with the album Byle Byc Soba in 2015. The following year, he represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest, the final of which took place in Stockholm, Sweden. His song "Color of Your Life" earned him eighth place in the contest and introduced him to the charts in Sweden, Austria and France.
