The South Korean singer Min Kyung-hoon is known not only for his solo albums, but also his chart-topping hits with the award-winning bands Buzz and and Universe Cowards. He was born in Seoul on October 6, 1984, and joined Buzz in 2003. The group reached Number 1 on the Gaon Album Chart with 2005's Effect, a wildly popular album featuring radio hits like "Coward," "Thorn," and "Travel To Me." When Buzz took an extended hiatus in 2007, Min Kyung-hoon continued releasing material as a solo act, making his solo debut with the album Im·pres·sive later that year. Im·pres·sive reached number 6 in South Korea, reached gold status, and was followed by 2010's Reunion, an EP whose most popular single, "It's Love Coz It Hurts," peaked at number 4. Min also reached number 4 with his next album, Picnic, which was released in 2011. Although he joined a reunited Buzz in 2014, he continued earning hits outside of the group, too, even topping the Gaon Singles Chart in 2016 with "Sweet Dream," his Number 1 duet alongside Kim Hee-chul. The two singers released the song under the band name "Universe Cowards." Two years later, the two teamed up once again for another hit single, "Falling Blossoms," which peaked at number 15. During that years that followed, Min Kyung-hoon contributed various songs to soundtracks in South Korea and appeared on television shows like Secret Man and Woman.
