Miracle of Sound is Gavin Dunne's cross-genre music project. Born on May 6, 1980 in Cork, Ireland, the multi-instrumentalist began playing in various bands as a teenager. He became better known in 2010 when "Gordon Freeman Saved My Life", a song inspired by a video game character from Half-Life, received more than 15,000 views on video platforms within one night. Dunne, who now seems to have found his hobbyhorse, focuses even more on music inspired by video games. As a result, further singles such as "The Ballad of Clay Carmine" and "Commander Shepard" became viral hits. Level 1, his debut album, was released in 2011, followed by Level 2 in 2012 and Level 3 (2013). Miracle of Sound works largely on his own, but in 2015 he collaborates with guitarists 331Erock and Dave Divilly. The result: Metal Up, a heavy metal LP with Celtic lyrics and Irish folk elements. After another series of Level releases between 2015 and 2020(Level 6 - 11), Dunne launched his most notable collaboration to date in 2021 when he teamed up with American country singer Peyton Parrish for 'Valhalla Calling'. The song even entered the charts in Australia (number 42) and Brazil (number 39).
