Olesia Arkusha, professionally known as Miss Monique, is a DJ and producer born on May 5, 1992 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Celebrated as one of Europe’s leading progressive house and melodic techno artists, she began her career in 2011 and gained international recognition through her shows Mind Games and MiMo Weekly, and her work with labels like Freegrant Music and her own Siona Records, established in 2019. Miss Monique’s unique sound, blending melodic techno and modern progressive house, earned her acclaim from legendary DJs like Armin van Buuren and Paul Oakenfold. She has performed in over 40 countries, with standout moments like her Cercle performance at the Montreal Biosphere in 2022, where she debuted her single "Concorde." Notable releases include the EPs Raindrop (2020) and Land of Sunshine (2021). Despite the challenges of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, which forced her to relocate to Portugal, Miss Monique continued to use her platform for humanitarian efforts, such as the 2022 Independence Day fundraiser in Lithuania. After collaborating with Moby on the single "Feeling So Real" in 2024, Miss Monique came back in 2025 with the track "Nomacita," featuring contributions from Italian techno producer GENESI.
