Mohamed Ait El Kaid (born February 28, 2003 in Agadir, Morocco) Moha K is a French-Moroccan rapper and songwriter from Évreux. His music is heavily influenced by both raï music and urban pop music and he is known for being a gifted melodist. The son of a Moroccan singer, Moha K grew up in Agadir, Morocco and arrived in France when he was just 13 years old. During his teenage years, he started rapping over instrumentals and uploading them to his personal video streaming channel. Slowly but surely, he began counting online fans by the thousands, thanks to his first handful of freestyles. In 2019, he began working with French DJ and producer Mike One, who had previously worked with Ninho and Naza. Shortly after, his 2020 freestyle “Elle” gained traction on social media and streaming platforms, quickly accumulating millions of views. It was later released as a single and even spawned an Arabic version later that year. More success ensued with the follow-up singles “Lubito,” “Te Amo,” and “Ne pleure pas.” In 2021, he finally reached the top of the French charts with the single “Vroum Vroum,” released through Wagram Records.
