Born on November 9, 1997 in Perpignan, Pyrénées-Orientales, Thomas Escudero, aka YuzMV (pronounced Yuzma), began by learning drums, then guitar and piano, while developing a passion and real talent for dance. In 2016, he launched his musical project, based on rap that is both melancholy and luminous. He makes a point of maintaining his anonymity by wrapping bands around his head at every media appearance. Willingly mysterious so that the public focuses more on the music than on the physique of the man who conceives it, he released his very first self-titled opus in 2020, after three EPs entitled Brouillons, distributed only via SoundCloud and then compiled on the Brouillons 0 mixtape. Two EPs were released the same year: L'Exil, le Royaume et le Dijinn and 6Side . He then worked on a second album, La Fin de la Nuit, which emerged in September 2022, demonstrating a hybrid formula between rap and French pop. It was followed in 2023 by a new EP, Gardien du Labyrinthe, before the artist shared his third album, L'Aube d'un Nouveau Jour, in 2024, featuring a duet with Arzel. The album reached number 135 in the French charts.
