Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway was born in 2022, the result of a meeting between the Californian singer and a contemporary bluegrass band. Born in Santa Clara on January 14, 1993, Molly Tuttle is the daughter of bluegrass musician Jack Tuttle, with whom she recorded her first album, The Old Apple Tree (2007). She followed this up with two more solo albums before joining forces with Dominick Leslie's Golden Highway (mandolin). The association inaugurated with the album Crooked Tree (2022), produced by Jerry Douglas, brought together a host of country stars with the band Old Crow Medicine Show and performers Margo Price, Sierra Hull, Billy Strings, Gillian Welch and Dan Tyminski. After touring together, they returned to the studio for the album City of Gold (2023) and the EP Into the Wild (2024).
