Originally from Denmark where he had his first major success as a DJ, producer and recording artist Morten Breum moved to Los Angeles in 2012. He began his DJ'ing life at the age of 13 in a local youth club in Aarhus where he was able to take a course arranged by his school and the club. He excelled at his chosen study and was able to convince his parents to spend his college fund early on some equipment to help further his career. Despite being influenced by many genres of music, Breum claims that it is the crowds and the way they move and react; the people dancing at his gigs around the world that have the biggest influence on his own musical style. As he has matured, his style has evolved from more aggressive, gangsta hip-hop and EDM influenced dance to a more melodic way of making music.
