Moses Pelham

Singer and rapper Moses Peter Pelham is known for his record label pelham power productions, on which he not only releases his own records, but also publishes artists such as Xavier Naidoo, Glashaus and Sabrina Setlur. As the son of an American blues musician, he was already selling his own mixtapes as a schoolboy and later joined the Frankfurt hip-hop group We wear the crown, together with Turbo B and Mark Spoon. Their official debut album Raining Rhymes was released in 1989. This was followed by the hip-hop crew Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt and their album Direkt aus Rödelheim (1994), before he released his first solo album Geteiltes Leid (1998). This was followed by the albums Geteiltes Leid 2 (2004) and Geteiltes Leid 3 (2012), which made it to number 3 in the German charts. He was also a judge for the TV format X Factor in 2012. in 2017, the album Herz was released, which reached number 2 in the German album charts. For the album Emuna (2020) he received the honorary award of the German record Kririk. 2021 Nostalgie Tape was released and reached number 11 in the charts. He received a special honor from Sony Music and RCA for being the only rapper in the world to have placed albums in the German charts in every decade since the 1980s.
